Maipú, Mendoza, Argentina
Maipú, created in 1858, is situated at the southeast from Mendoza’s capital. This region has been historically chosen for the production and the development of the wine industry, and that’s why it’s known as the “wine’s cradle”. Following the tradition and the family calling, María Lorine Bombal decided to build her winery in this place, exactly in Lunlunta.
Lunlunta (”Stone that falls or underground water noise” in huarpe language) is characterized by its flat grounds with an irregularity at the southwest and northwest; also by having a mild warm weather; and by being traversed by Mendoza river.
All these unique characteristics are combined with the innovative and booming work of the company Maria Lorine Bombal for the elaboration of its famous wines.
